The PSNY x Air Jordan 12 Retro collaboration was one of the best retro collabs ever. For those that don’t know, Public School New York is a high end streetwear brand based out of New York City. As New York is arguably the sneaker capital of the world, it made sense that NY’s own would get a chance to work with Jordan.
The first iteration of the PSNY Jordan 12 released in 2015 to incredible hype. The shoe retailed at $300, significantly higher than the $220 most retro Jordans retail at today. The premium suede finish on the sneaker, combined with its monochrome colorway was an absolute beauty to look at. While the first version was all grey, new images are surfacing of different colorways.
First, a “Bordeaux” colorway was teased, featuring an all burgundy sneaker composed of the premium suede that killed it on the first ones. Now, an “Olive” colorway has also surfaced, hinting that maybe two versions of the sneaker will drop soon. While everything is still speculation at this point, we can’t wait for more PSNY 12s to drop. Check back with Nous Culture for more updates on sneaker news.
