Canada Goose and OVO are continuing their partnership with a brand new spring 2017 collaboration featuring a few signature garments from the brand known for its high-quality outerwear. The duo from up north is sticking with titling the collection sprind 2017 despite the fact that we are well into summer. That being said, the Canadian climate can be a bit fiercer than in the United States.
For this season’s collaboration, Drake’s October’s Very Own and Canada Goose work on a custom collection dubbed “Made in Canada,” compromised of timber shell jackets. The lightweight jackets will release in two colorways—white and black—and will feature OVO’s signature gold colorway on the OVO owl logo and the reflective taping throughout the collaborative piece. Made out of premium detailing, the custom jackets will come equipped with fully seam-sealed construction and a technically advanced waterproof material.
News on this upcoming collaboration comes on the heels of the successful 2016 spring/summer collection, which was released back in December, and featured a chilliwack bomber jacket and a dual-branded cap. The collab immediately sold out upon its release with prices doubling in value on sites like eBay and more.
The two jackets are clean and pay homage to both OVO and Canada. For the expected price point however, unless you’re a diehard OVO fan I would pass on both. However, I am eagerly awaiting what these two have in store for winter.
The OVO x Canada Goose “Made in Canada” spring/summer 2017 collection will release on Fri., June 16, at OVO flagship stores worldwide and online at October’s Very Own webstore.
