Nike and Jordan Brand are Putting Flyknit on Jordans Now

Jordan Brand and Nike will be releasing their first flyknit Jordan later this year. The Air Jordan 1 in the OG Bred colorway will be the first iteration of the series. The entire Air Jordan 1 is constructed with flyknit and features a black and red colorway alongside the OG wings logo and leather swoosh. A leather tag is placed on the tongue displaying yarn forming the year 1985, alongside the Nike Air.

This is expected to be the first of a long line of disappointing Jordan’s to release in the near future. Jordan brand will repeat its former mistakes by taking over used Nike technology and rolling out dozens of Jordan’s with the technology over the next year or so. Flyknit was a revolutionary technology, both in the lack of waste it caused the sneaker creating process and its innovative feel on the foot, but it with ever product that Nike puts it on, the less majestic it becomes.
