Jeff Koons has a new mini-documentary Narrated by Scarlett Johansson

Jeff Koons recently had his seated ballerina sculpture on display in the middle of New York City.  The 62-year-old luminary was even the subject of a new mini-documentary directed by Oscar Boyson. Simply titled Jeff Koons, the eight-minute clip is entirely narrated by Hollywood darling Scarlett Johansson. Not to mention, there are appearances by Pharrell Williams, Larry Gagosian, and George Condo, to name a few.

The video highlights Koons’ modest beginnings — like selling memberships at MoMA in New York — to his rise to art stardom. Additionally, his iconic artwork spanning Balloon Dog, Puppy, everyday objects, concert backdrops, and car designs, as well as yacht makeovers, fill the rapid fast sequences.

Watch the video below and be sure to drop by the Gagosian to check out a Jeff Koons retrospective currently on view.
