“Controlla” and “These Days” Leak from Drake’s Camp

Late last night social media began to talk about two Drake tracks that had leaked via YouTube and Soundcloud that are said to be from Drakes next album Views From the 6. The first excerpt came from a song titled “Controlla” that featured OVO’s own artist Popcaan, and the second titled “These Days”. If you haven’t already heard the two pieces of OVO sound it may be difficult to hear them now because both have been removed from YouTube and Soundcloud due to a DMCA complaint.

The Popcaan collab “Controlla” sounds dangerously similar to Rihanna’s “Work” single that featured Drake and people are even calling it the sequel to the original Rihanna song. “These Days” is a little more laid back but doesn’t fail to fill the room with positive vibes.

After these two leaks and the single Summer Sixteen that Drake released earlier this year, it seems like Drizzy has perfected his OVO sound. And our liking, the new OVO sound is positive and uplifting, which is a stark contrast to the drake we heard in the early 2010’s that gave us “Marvin’s Room” and “Doing it Wrong”.

Views From the 6 is slated to be released next month and could be released as early as next week. Check out the latest from Drake’s camp on OVO Sound Radio.
